How to permanently set the column configuration

There is the option in ReqIF Studio to Configure columns displayed for the imported ReqIF file. This is useful to add new columns based on attributes in the ReqIF file, and it is also possible to set the width of the columns.
What I would like to know is, once changes are made, how to make the change permanent so that when the next ReqIF file is opened or when ReqIF Studio is reopened, the added columns / set columns widths are remembered so that they don’t have to be configured each time. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Ar,

This is in fact possible. Your view settings are stored in a separate file. For instance, for Test.reqif, ReqIF Studio create a Test.rmf file (at least once you save for the first time). This file stores the column configuration (among other things).

If the column names are identical, you should be able to copy the existing .rmf file. If the file name matches, it will be used.

Note that ReqIF Studio has the option of alterantively storing the settings in the ReqIF file itself. In that case, this won’t work. You can set this via

Window > Preferences > ReqIF > Store settings in ReqIF file
