      Hello Dr. Jastram,

with the help of your tutorials I can manage to add new requirements with a unique sequential number like REQ-1, Req-2, … (via Right Mouse Button/New Sibling/Spec Object) which works very fine.

I’d like to know, if it’s possible that you copy one or more requirements via Edit/Copy/Paste, and automatically the unique sequential numbers of the copied requirements get updated. Because currently, if you do it that way, you will get the same sequential numbers twice.

The background is, that some requirements have similar contents with slightly different parts like different values, and a Copy/Paste action would speed up the documentation process.

      Thank you for your help.

      Best regards,
      Wildan

      Hi Wildan,

You’re right, it would be nice to ensure having a unique ID. As you’ve probably seen, at least the system marks the ID as a duplicate. Once you save, you should see an error marker in the side pane.

This feature request is on our backlist. I hope the error marker is a sufficient workaround until we get to it.

      Best – Michael
